Celebrating 2000 listens with “Loopie-Loop” – a new comedy recorded to say thank you amazing listeners!
When we launched a month ago we hoped to achieve a thousand listens to our full cast audio dramas by September 1st. Instead, we have had more than two thousand listens in one month and a day!
To thank you for helping make this amazing, crazy adventure a success, a bunch of us got together and made a new comedy, “Loopie-Loop”, in 72 hours of SFX cock ups, line errors, unstoppable giggling and general wonderfulness. Here in this post you’ll find a new, very silly play, made specially for you to say “wow, you’re brilliant, you’ve proved that radio is very much alive!”
Radio isn’t a particularly visual medium! But, if you like that sort of thing, we share our artwork, pictures of rehearsals, other stuff our artists are up to and whatever entertains us on Pinterest and Instagram. We’d love to hear from you!
We have a Youtube channel with all our radio plays subtitled and on a playlist, which means if you pick one, press play, and reduce the window, you can happily leave it playing in the corner. Also, if English isn’t your first language or you’re curious about the text, this is a good way to get a better understanding of the play.
Soundcloud is our main host. It has a number of advantages that make it really easy to give your followers and friends direct access. This is the way to do it if you’re a real soundy/tech-wiz.
