Check to see if you have a Podcast app. iPhones always have a podcast app (it’s call “podcasts.”) Windows Phones also come with an app called “podcasts.” If you have an android phone and it doesn’t have a podcast app pre-installed, try one of these:
Castbox: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=fm.castbox.audiobook.radio.podcast
Google Play Music: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.music
Podcast Addoct: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bambuna.podcastaddict
Now you have a podcast app, you can subscribe directly to our radio station and it will automatically inform you when there is a new episode, allowing you to download/stream and listen with a single swipe of your thumb.
There are two ways to subscribe. The easiest, is to navigate to www.aboutwriting.org (or, as you’re reading this article, scroll down to the bottom of the article) and press this button on the screen:
Sometimes, for reasons to do with your phone, that won’t work. In which case you need to copy and paste the RSS Feed into the section of your podcast app that asks for the podcast URL:
http://feeds.soundcloud.com/users/soundcloud:users:435165690/sounds.rss
Now you can enjoy our plays direct from your phone without thinking about it at all. Whilst you’re there in your app, take a look see is there’s a rate/comment system. Go on. Give us some 5 stars. It helps other people find us.
